Minecraft player ducky_67 shared a new look at the Hogwarts castle recreation that they have been working on for many years. The entire exterior of the castle, including the Quidditch Pitch, the boathouse, and the Herbology greenhouses, has been remade with Minecraft‘s in-depth creation tools. The interior of the castle is where the highly detailed design is truly impressive, with the Grand Staircase, Gryffindor common room, Great Hall, and the Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration classrooms being among the easily recognizable recreations. Flaming braziers, flying books, and floating candles are among the finer details that can be spotted, along with a rather iconic detail from The Chamber of Secrets. These finer interior details have been the focus of ducky_67’s work over the last year, and the updated look is truly a work of magic.

The creator has said that they still have plenty more to craft, anticipating another three years before they fully complete this truly incredible recreation. This means they expect it to take a total of 10 years for them to bring the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to the world of Minecraft. Having made massive improvements since their last update, fans of Harry Potter and Minecraft are already applauding the current iteration of the castle and are waiting eagerly for the next magical update.
