How to Find the Business Turret (& How It Works) | Games Rants

Even though gamers had to see some weapons go with the end of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, Season 4 introduced players to some interesting items that they had never seen before. Fortnite Last Resort is all about planning the perfect heist and infiltrating strongholds in order to steal the rarest weapons in the game without getting caught.

Players can now use the Business Turret to help them take care of any enemies or stronghold guards that they might come across during a battle royale match. This guide will show players where they can find Business Turrets in Fortnite and exactly how to use them.

How to Find the Business Turret

The Business Turret is an Epic rarity item, so it can be quite hard to find as floor loot. Even though there is a chance gamers will stumble upon the Business Turret as regular floor loot, they’ll have a better chance of finding it if they search through Heist Bags at The Getaway landmark or one of Thorne’s Strongholds: Sanguine Suites, Breakwater Bay, or Relentless Retreat.

How the Business Turret Works

Once the player has a Business Turret in their inventory, they can throw it like any other item, and it’ll automatically start shooting anyone nearby that’s not the player or one of their squadmates.

The Business Turret has a range of 60 meters, so if players move farther away, it will lose connection and self-destruct within seven seconds. It will also self-destruct if the player sets up another Business Turret – gamers can only have one active turret at a time. When gamers are done using the Business Turret in a certain location, they can pick it back up and take it with them, as it’s fully portable.

When it comes to dealing with other Business Turrets, gamers might want to deal with them as quickly as possible. It may not seem like much at first, but this item’s laser deals seven damage every time it hits a player, and since it shoots quite fast, it can turn lethal within seconds.

Alternatively, instead of taking down the turret, gamers can attempt to eliminate whoever set it up. If they manage to do so, the turret will no longer be hostile, and players will actually be able to safely pick it up themselves and take it with them.

Business Turrets can be especially handy when it comes to taking down Low Card guards, which are aggressive NPCs that players will come across when visiting the Strongholds and the Forecast Towers. Unlike the turrets, these guards don’t have great aim, and they’re quite weak. So, players might want to place down a Business Turret so they can explore freely without having to worry about hostile guards.

Fortnite is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
