As players make their way through the magical valley, they can mine, cook, fish, and explore. One of the game’s unique mechanics is friendship quests tied to each character. Players can complete these quests to unlock more friendship quests and win exciting rewards.
Lair Sweet Lair is a friendship quest available from Ursula in Disney Dreamlight Valley. During this quest, players have to craft two Purple Pigments for the Magical Scroll and Ink kit. However, collecting the required materials can be a bit challenging. Purple Pigment Crafting Recipe
To craft a Purple Pigment, players will need to gather the following materials.
- 4 x Purple Rising Penstemons
- 4 x Purple Falling Penstemons.
Where to Find the Ingredients for Purple Pigment
Purple Rising Penstemons are found in the Peaceful Meadow, the second biome in the valley. Purple Falling Penstemons, on the other hand, are native to the Plaza. Fortunately, both regions are unlocked from the start, unlike other biomes in the valley. Therefore, players won’t have to spend any Dreamlight in order to unlock them.
It is pertinent to mention that there is no fixed spawn place for these flowers, so players may have a hard time finding them. Players will be able to find four of these flowers at any given time in these biomes, and both flowers respawn every 30 minutes after being picked. It would be a good idea to enter the Furniture mode to get an aerial view of the entire area.
Besides crafting the Purple Pigment, players can also use these flowers to craft various other materials, such as flower pots and chests. Alternatively, they can also gift these flowers to the villagers of the valley to increase friendship levels with them. Once players have gathered the required number of flowers, they can head to a crafting station and craft two Purple Pigments.
What to Do After Crafting Purple Pigments
Purple Pigments are one of the materials required for crafting the Magical Scroll and Ink Kit. Apart from these pigments, players will also require six Dream Shards and an Empty Vial to craft the kit. After crafting the kit, give it to Ursula to conclude the quest.
