Rune Factory 3 Special: All Romanceable Bachelorettes | Games Rants

Rune Factory 3 Special offers players a rich and enjoyable experience filled with clever dialogue, charming characters, and lots of farming and adventuring. When the player isn’t busy performing chores and battling enemies, they spend time speaking with the villagers, offering gifts, and performing tasks to aid in their day-to-day lives.

Rune Factory 3 Special does suffer from a significant shortcoming that was common in early Rune Factory and Harvest Moon titles. The player can only create a male main character and is only able to romance the women of Sharance Town. This isn’t necessarily a problem, but such a limitation feels like an archaic trope from the earlier years of the life simulation game genre, which, unfortunately, was not addressed in RF3S. Though there are no Bachelors to romance in RF3S, there are still plenty of Bachelorettes for players to pursue.

Newlywed Mode in Rune Factory 3 Special

The main character must marry one of these villagers to finish the game, as it is required by the storyline. The player has the choice to pursue a relationship with any of the eligible ladies and is able to date multiple at the same time; however, they can marry only one of their romantic interests. The player can propose to an eligible bridal candidate after reaching a certain part of the game’s story and maxing their relationship with the character (reaching Level 10). Rune Factory 3 Special also features a post-game “Newlywed Mode” that offers additional story content involving the character’s bride.
